What You Will Do:

One of 12 units in the world renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Challenging care of the most critically ill patients in Maryland who have sustained a primary central nervous system injury, many of which have injuries of additional systems as well. Many patients are transitioned to this Unit from the Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit once stabilized.

What You Need to Be Successful:

Experience requirements:

Prior RN experience is preferred.


Nursing Graduates are welcomed: Prior exp as a student nurse or patient care tech in an ICU, IMC, Neuro or ED setting and/or completion of a Sr Practicum in ICU is required.


Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to compact state requirements outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing
